Tips

• If you're using a Cisco router for conducting NAT, try deleting the firewall rules to avoid the firewall eating your NAT packets. A good example of a problem is wherein you can access the Internet outward, but can't access systems behind the router from the outside.
• IOS rules tend to be written "backwards:" example being that a server hosting outbound content is indicated as something going back out on a given port, vs coming in.
