It seems that the script in the windows article doesn't show the ansi colors on vista. The wikipedia article on ansi.sys claims that ansi.sys is included in vista. Can anyone see how this could be fixed? --Syswiki 11:11, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- It seems it might be line 6, that needs privilege elevation:
if errorlevel 1 echo device=%systemroot%\system32\ansi.sys >> %systemroot%\system32\config.nt - I had an elevate.vbs somewhere, but does anybody know how to do this directly from the .bat file, without relying on extra files? --Syswiki 07:55, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
